Eric J. Clayman, Esq.

bankruptcy lawyerEric has lived in Southern New Jersey all of his life. After graduating from Cherry Hill High School West, he attended Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in 1982. He graduated from Rutgers School of Law, Camden, New Jersey, and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1985.

After law school, Eric clerked for the Honorable Anthony M. Lario, J.T.C., in the Tax Court of New Jersey before becoming associated with the law firm of Jenkins & Jenkins. In 1994, Jeff Jenkins and Eric formed Jenkins & Clayman.

Eric is a member of the Steering Committee of the Rutgers Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project, and has served on the Lawyers Advisory Committee to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

Eric has lectured on Consumer Bankruptcy Law for lawyers and is an accredited instructor for the State Accounting Boards in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has twice been voted one of New Jersey's top Bankruptcy Attorneys.
