About Jenkins & Clayman

Let our family take care of your family

bankruptcy lawyersJeffrey Jenkins and Eric Clayman started practicing bankruptcy law in 1985. On January 1, 1986, our predecessor firm, Jenkins & Jenkins, was formed. The firm specialized in consumer bankruptcy filings. In 1994, the firm became Jenkins & Clayman. Our practice now almost exclusively consists of filing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings for individuals in the lower two-thirds of New Jersey.

Our entire office is set up to file consumer bankruptcies quickly and efficiently. We consider ourselves experts in the field of bankruptcy and we are certainly one of New Jersey's leading consumer bankruptcy firms.

Our Partners:

While we fight hard for our clients in court, it is very important to us that our attorneys and staff are kind and understanding with all of our clients. We take pride in taking care of all of our clients' needs in their bankruptcy proceedings.

For more than the last decade, we have filed more consumer bankruptcies than any other law firm in New Jersey. We have about a 150 appointment slots available on a weekly basis and appear in front of the bankruptcy judges, who take care of the lower two-thirds of New Jersey, thousands of times each year.

We have an excellent group of attorneys. They are all well educated, intelligent, kind and caring individuals. All of our attorneys are actively involved in the bankruptcy community in New Jersey and we speak frequently at seminars around the state as experts in the field of consumer bankruptcy.

We fight vigorously for our clients in court and are not at all hesitant to appeal a bankruptcy judge's decision if we feel it is improper and take it to whatever level of court is necessary for a successful resolution.
